Episcopal Church
Women (ECW)

The ECW is open to all women of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.

The mission of Episcopal Church Women of St. Michael and All Angels is:
-To give thanks
-To walk in the path God made for us
-To care for the sick and shut in

As Episcopal Church Women, we pray for continued clarity of purpose, strength, and courage to conduct business with joy and enthusiasm, and to spread the Gospel through worship, service, study, and fellowship.

Episcopal Church
Men (ECM)

The ECM is open to all men of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The Episcopal Church Men (ECM) of Saint Michael's and All Angels Episcopal (SMAA) is a service auxillary of the church. Our mission is to provide support, service and outreach to our church family and the Charlotte community. The ECM is Christ focused. The ECM has a proud history of leadershipv in the life of SMAA. The ECM continues it's legacy to SMAA by giving of their time, talent and treasure. We look forward to continued service to in the future. The ECM dues are $5.00 per month or $60 per year.

Lay Eucharistic Ministry (LEM)

Lay Eucharistic Ministers are licensed by the Bishop to administer the consecrated elements of the Eucharist. Lay Eucharistic Ministers may be licensed to administer the consecrated bread and wine at any celebration of the Eucharist in the absence of a sufficient number of priests and deacons to assist the celebrant. They may also be licensed to go from a Sunday eucharist or other principal celebrations of the eucharist to share the sacrament with members of the congregation who were unable to be present at the celebration because of illness or infirmity. Lay Eucharistic Ministers may be licensed for either or both ministries. This ministry does not to take the place of the ministry of priests and deacons concerning the administration of the Eucharistic Ministry.

United Thank Offering (UTO)

The United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of the Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through the United Thank Offering, men, women, and children nurture the habit of giving daily thanks to God. These prayers of thanksgiving start when we recognize and name our many daily blessings. Those who participate in UTO discover that thankfulness leads to generosity. United Thank Offering is entrusted to promote thank offerings, to receive the offerings, and to distribute the UTO monies to support mission and ministry throughout the Episcopal Church and in invited Provinces of the Anglican Communion in the developing world.

Outreach
Beyond Our Doors

The "Beyond Our Doors" Committee plans outreach to the community throughout the year. One of the Committee's most notable projects is the annual Baby Shower for expectant mother's at Hawthorne High School. If you would like to donate to St. Michael and All Angels outreach efforts, you may designate your gift for outreach and drop it in the alms basin at the offertory.
